RVOA Meeting Schedule Taking Shape

The RVOA will hold regular meetings beginning Monday, July 23rd, most likely at Harlem H.S. in Rockford. (Still tentative, but most likely.) Meetings will be weekly until the beginning of the season, then bi-monthly into October. Meetings will cover rules, mechanics, expectations, professionalism, situations, RVOA and NIFC philosophies.

RVOA Clinic Announced for August 18th

The RVOA will conduct an on-field clinic in conjunction with Harlem high school’s football scrimmage and fall sports day on Saturday, August 18th. New and experienced officials interested in working the N.I.F.C. junior tackle league in 2007 should attend. [New officials are required to attend.]
A brief classroom session will precede the on-field action as Harlem teams conduct their pre-season scrimmages. New officials will be on the field with veteran referees seeing plays in real time. This is an RVOA-NIFC clinic and will not count toward your IHSA requirement. Go to IHSA.org to find a clinic near you.
