This organization shall be known as the Rock Valley Officials’ Association, hereinafter referred to as the Association or RVOA. This name is registered with the Illinois High School Association and is reserved for the use of the Association only and may not be used by others without prior written consent.

This Association shall promote good will and friendly understanding among its members, schools, coaches, athletic directors and players of the game of football in Illinois. The Association shall endeavor to interpret and apply the rules set forth by the National Federation of State High School Associations and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in a fair and impartial manner and shall uphold the highest standards and ideals of the football code of sportsmanship.

The RVOA will assign football officials for the newly-formed junior tackle football league for the 2007 season. The N.I.F.C. was created in 2006 from teams leaving the local Rockford junior tackle league. The N.I.F.C. will emphasize good sportsmanship and fair play for all in attendance. Teams from Roscoe, South Beloit, Rockton, Genoa, Belvidere, Win-Du-Pec, North Boone, Kenrock, YMCA and Rockford will compete in three divisions: featherweight, lightweight, and heavyweight (grades 3­-8.)
